Smudging: The act of smudging is easy and can be done as often as you would like. Palo Santo can be used to clear negative energy, and to promote feelings of positivity and to reduce stress and anxiety.
Instructions: First set your good intentions, then gather your palo santo stick and a fireproof dish. Next, remember that a little smoke goes a long way and light one palo santo stick. Let it burn for thirty seconds to a minute before rubbing it out on the fireproof dish. You can either allow it to smolder in your fireproof dish or waft the smoke around the space you would like to affect, while silently or verbally restating your good intentions for the space. If you have run out of smoke, simply re-light and repeat the steps.
